Our team is happy to serve anybody in need of psychiatry or therapy services, from individual and family sessions to medication management.
Who are the providers you hire?
Our team is comprised of a board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Shree Shrestha, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Fauzia Akhtar, as well as licensed therapists and counselors.
Do you take insurance?
We accept most major medical insurance plans and are in-network with BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, and Optum. Even if you’re out-of-network, we’re happy to maximize your benefits by filing claims on your behalf or answering insurance questions.
Is my patient information kept private?
Yes. Our psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, therapists, and counselors all follow HIPAA privacy rules, as it’s our ethical responsibility to do so. This means that the only way we’re able to disclose your private information is if you provide us with written authorization.
As medical professionals, we are also mandated reporters, so it is our duty to swiftly report instances in which you say you will harm yourself or somebody else to police. We’re also required by law to report known or suspected instances of neglect or abuse of a child.
How do I get my medication?
Once you become a regular patient of ours, you’ll be able to request medication management visits as well as call our office for refills.
How can I get help immediately?
If you’re in crisis, please call or text the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 any time of day or night for emotional support. For medical or mental health emergencies, you can call 911 for someone to immediately be sent to your home.
Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to begin seeing any of our providers at TruHarmony Psychiatry, PLLC; however, we do often see patients who have been referred to us by doctors, nurses, and therapists.
